A little about my family: My parents are both school teachers/principal, who grew up in little villages, born to hard working farmers; my parents are the first generation to get to school and complete college. I have a brother who grew up with me, is now married and settled in the USA with two kids.
My academics: I'm a masters graduate, have a Computer Science degree specialized in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science from UNC Charlotte - USA; my Bachelors degree is in Computer Science from a University in Chennai. I have always had great interest in academics and maintained very good academic scores starting from my schooling all the way until my masters, which is not a surprise when both of my parents are teachers and when I value education to a great extent.
A Time-lapse of my life: I grew up in a traditional nuclear family setup in a small beautiful town located on the Southern side of Tamil Nadu, with family relatives in and around the town. I moved to Chennai for my Bachelors where I had the opportunity to adapt to new surroundings, new culture and ramp up my interpersonal and social skills. I worked as a Software professional at a multinational company, now Ciena, at Bangalore for about a year before my interests in academics and research motivated me to pursue a masters degree in the US. I currently work as a Data engineer in a SW firm in the US and I'm on my H1B visa.
About me/mind/heart/whatever you call it: I try to stay positive and composed, and I succeed in maintaining those attributes most of the times. I'm blessed with having experienced and maintaining both traditional and open minded frame of mind, having grown up in a traditional environment all the way until my 12th grade and having exposed to open minded culture and people since then. I believe in God (still have the habit of reciting Thiruvasagam & Sasti everyday), believe in my thoughts and actions/good will and always try not to hurt anyone at any cost. I'm a strong believer of myself and I can create positive vibes, like to have fun in life. Goes without saying, I'm highly responsible on what I do and very dedicated. I don't drink, don't smoke and try to stay with good habits.
Where do I live? I currently stay with my brother at Austin, TX along with my sister-in-law and two little kids.
Future path: I'd like to continue working after marriage, like to settle down in India, maintaining the precious culture and traditions of our own mother India and bringing my Children with the same mindset.
