She grew up in Chennai. She has completed her BA Economics degree from Stella Maris College, Chennai and MS in International Economics and Finance at Johns Hopkins University Washington DC, USA. She is presently working as Research Analyst at IMF (International Monetary Fund) in Washington DC, USA. She holds a diplomat visa.
She is a very cheerful, warm and family-oriented person. At the same time, she is studious, very focused and driven. She is generally inquisitive by nature and loves to learn. She has varied interests - reads a lot, has been a inline Speed skater since she was ten, likes to travel. She has been National Champion for 4 consecutive years in inline speed skating championship
